Diesel Exhaust Gas Temperature Probe Lives Long

May 19, 2011
Promising a long service life, the EGT Diesel Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor relies on an enclosed foul proof probe tip that permits operation in bio-fuel and diesel engine applications.

Promising a long service life, the EGT Diesel Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor relies on an enclosed foul proof probe tip that permits operation in bio-fuel and diesel engine applications. Using high-temperature Inconel and 316SS, this type K thermocouple can withstand extreme conditions. It reliably survives extreme vibration and heat up to +1,200°C. Measuring 0.187" in diameter (4.75 mm), the EGT probe will fit most diesel engine exhaust systems from 0.75” (19 mm) to 4” (100 mm) in diameter with nominal installation modifications. It is available in either a straight or with a 90° bend to the probe. An adjustable (316 Stainless Steel) 1/8" NPT compression fitting adapter is included. The Sensor Connection, Troy, MI.
