A new enclosure has been designed to house all types of small electronic devices. The Enclos is suitable for housing remote controls and pocket-sized instruments. This universal enclosure is molded in black ABS, and an accompanying aluminum panel can be fitted in the top recess. Alternatively, this recess can be used for fitting a membrane keypad or product label. Three Enclos sizes measure 3.34"L x 2.85"W in heights of 0.98", 1.20" and 1.41". The two larger sizes come with a battery compartment designed with a clip-on lid and will accept a 9V cell. The top base moldings of the Enclos are assembled by four self-tapping screws and include mounting pillars for compact PCBs and switch assemblies. Enclosures can be custom fitted.
