Expanding the company's portfolio of low-capacitance protection ICs for the high-definition video market, the HDMIULC6-4SC6 provides up to 15 kV of contact and air ESD protection for high definition multimedia interfaces (HDMIs) operating at rates from 1.65 Gb/s to 3.2 Gb/s. Offering a bandwidth greater than 5 GHz, the monolithic, application-specific device provides complete rail-to-rail protection on four data lines without compromising signal integrity. Other features include a line capacitance of 0.6 pF, cut-off frequency of 5.3 GHz, leakage current of 0.5 µA maximum, and minimal channel imbalance, signal skew, and crosstalk.
