Approved by the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) for use in TFOCA I, these Field Deployable Cables feature a highly flexible, tight buffered construction with a highly abrasion-resistant polyurethane outer jacket that is capable of withstanding crush forces over 250 lb./in. Available in single and double jacket configurations, the ruggedized cables come in single and multi-mode constructions, conform to IEEE 802.3Z Gigabit Ethernet standards, and are ideal for critical video broadcasting systems. Available in sizes from 4.75 to 7.49 mm O.D. and providing up to 600 lb. Of pull strength, depending upon size, the Field Deployable Cables are compatible with most military-style multi-channel connectors. Applications include field communications, remote news and sports broadcasting, and entertainment.
