Designed to protect metal-oxide varistors (MOVs) used in transient voltage surge suppression (TVSS) devices, VSP fuses are rated at 600 vac with a 200 kA interrupting rating. The fuses are UL recognized and conform to the revised UL 1449 surge standard. To minimize damage to TVSS equipment, VSP fuses provide current limiting protection in ac short circuit conditions.
