Designed with the safety and protection of equipment and its users, the Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) product line prevent equipment damage and human injury resulting from transient voltage disturbances by reacting as fast as a crowbar device. The product line features three-electrode balanced and 5-mm, two electrode Triguard devices that use a patented surtab-grade failsafe design, which can be combined with a variety of lead configurations. A number of series are available: the 2027 series two-pole GDTs; 2026 three-hole components, MSP series multi-stage protector; 2035/2037 series miniature two-pole GDTs; 2036 series miniature three-pole devices; and the 4010/4020 surge-protector test sets. All two-pole GDTs are available with breakdown voltages from 90 to 600V and the three-pole tubes from 75 to 600V. Depending on size, configuration and electrodes, prices begin under $10.
