With an outer diameter of 110 mm and a length of just 22 mm, the CSD Series of ultra-flat harmonic drive gearing components offer a rated torque of 850 in.-lb. and 3,175 in.-lb. maximum. The components also boast of a zero backlash, a positional accuracy of 1 arc-minute, and a repeatability of ±5 arc-seconds. The CSD Series is available in gear ratios of 50:1, 100:1 and 160:1. The components use a patented "S" tooth profile design that allows the surrounding enclosure to be made compact for additional size and weight savings.
