HCMOS Surface-Mount Oscillators Sport Tight Tolerances

June 1, 1999
Tight frequency stabilities are offered by a series of surface-mounted HCMOS oscillators. The 5V models HSM91 and HSM94 and 3.3V models HSM913 and HSM943 offer stabilities of 20 and 25 ppm over the temperature range of zero to 70°C. For models

For models HSM62 and HSM623, stability is 50 ppm from -40°C to 85°C. Frequency range for these oscillators is 1.544 MHz to 80 MHz with tristate enable/disable function. The devices are designed to meet the SONET tolerance requirement. Their compact, low-profile size of 5 mm x 7.5 mm is well suited for networking, modem card, computer peripheral and PCMCIA card applications. An even more compact version, the HSM02, is rated at 50 ppm and measures 3.5 mm x 6 mm x 1.5 mm. Special temperature ranges and frequency tolerances are available upon request.
