High reliability multilayer ceramic capacitors meet the pressing demands of the automotive electronic components, and medical, communication infrastructure and industrial equipment.

Taiyo Yuden combines advanced materials and processing technologies in producing their High Reliability MLCC Series. A few hundred high performance multilayer ceramic capacitors make up this new high reliability category to meet the pressing demands of the automotive electronic components, medical equipment, communication infrastructure equipment such as base station communications, and industrial equipment used for factory automation and industrial robots. With the advent of wireless communication functions and GPS, proximity sensors and vehicle-mounted cameras, the automobile market has experienced a rapid increase in the number of electronic components and multi-functionalism. The high-reliability capacitors meet the severe demand characteristics and reliability requirements dictated by the automotive electronics market, passing stringent evaluation tests corresponding to AEC-Q200. The High Reliability MLCC Series comes in case sizes 0603, 0805, 1206 and 1210, with each one offering voltage ratings from 4 V to 50 V.
