With a five-tumbler keylock design, the CKM series of anti-static switches features a patented switching mechanism with self-cleaning, sliding contacts that offer high reliability and a long operating life with smooth operation. Their bushings and housings are fabricated from fiber glass-reinforced PBT, capable of withstanding an ESD up to 15 kV. With a 16-mm bushing, the keylock switches fit standard panel openings and are available in two- and three-position models. The switches also offer epoxy-sealed solder lugs and a seal for the contact area.
Other features include an operational temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, an ability to withstand 90% to 95% humidity for 96 hr. at 40°C, current rating of 3A, and a voltage spec of 250 Vac. Options include tubular or flat-key models with randomly assigned key numbers and PBT resin handles for additional ESD protection (the flat key option is also reversible).
