The company has introduced more sizes and options into its 1551 family of miniature general purpose ABS, IP54 enclosures, particularly shallower versions of the existing rectangular version. Three square sizes have been added to the line: 35 mm x 35 mm, 40 mm x 40 mm, and 50 mm x 50 mm. Each size is now available with a plain or flanged lid, in heights of 15 mm and 20 mm, and in black or gray ABS. Additionally, all rectangular enclosures are available with or without a key ring and all units come with two internal mounting posts at opposing corners for direct PCB installation. The enclosures use a lap joint construction to provide protection to IP54. Lids are fit with two screws and flanged lids enable the unit to be secured to a surface with an improved level of security.
