Claiming to extend high-power RF coaxial switching far beyond existing limits, this ultra-high power transfer switch is capable of handling 4 kW up to 1 GHz and 2 kW up to 2 GHz. The high power handling capability coupled with reduced size eliminates the need for large waveguide switches used in L-band applications. This break-before-make latching switch operates with a minimum of 28 Vdc and features built-in, self cut-off circuitry.
