A series of miniature load cells offers overload protection up to 10 times capacity in tension and compression without degradation of performance. Their low sensitivity to extraneous loads enhances accuracy. Even in humidity, they maintain quality output because of a moisture-resistant coating. Other features are 1.1 LB (5N) through 450 LBF (2KN) capacities, 0.025% creep, 0.03% FS hysteresis, 0.02% RO non-repeatability, and optional English or metric thread sizes. Applications include material test machines, process, medical, pharmaceutical, aircraft, and automotive testing where small forces must be measured under overload conditions.
