A new high-intensity acoustic sensor has been designed for the measurement of dynamic pressure events, including high- intensity sound pressure levels. The Model P-766 microphone is effective in the frequency range of 2 Hz to 10 KHz in pressure ranges up to 5,000 psi and at temperatures of up to 150°C. An all-welded stainless steel case construction gives users the advantages of high natural frequency and exceptional mechanical isolation along with extreme ruggedness.
