Featuring advanced cooling, the MicroBox debuts as a 1U MicroTCA with, reportedly, the smallest form factor of any deployable MicroTCA unit in the industry. The unit supports up to 10 mid-size, single-width modules in a 45 mm x 465 mm x 210 mm depth housing. Its five bays can be filled with a wide range of module configurations in single or double modules or full, mid, or compact sizes. A side-to-side cooling configuration does not have any bends in the airflow path. Additionally, the MicroBox includes a 384W power module, J-TAG switch module from MicroBlade, and one MicroTCA carrier hub. Pricing for the MicroBox is under $3,000 depending on volume and options.
