A wide range of EMI gasketing has been developed using a nickel-impregnated, multi-filament polyester as the prime shielding material. The polyester, according to the company, has high resistance to galvanic attack and provides excellent shielding. Knitted stainless steel wire for higher frequencies is also available, as is a gasketing offering both shielding and sealing capabilities. Substrate materials include urethane, neoprene, EPDM, and silicone. Shielding materials include nickel, stainless, monel and silver. The materials can be fashioned into several different shapes, including D, V, circular and rectangular. Conductive masking tape offering a low-resistance junction between enclosure and gasket is also available.
