Built using proprietary magneto-inductive technology, the BIL analog, absolute linear position sensor is designed to provide highly accurate, non-contact continuous positioning information, such as for short displacement motion-based systems. It can also be used in on/off, end-of-stroke systems. Measuring just 95 mm long and having no moving parts other than the magnet, the sensor delivers analog temperature-compensated linearized stroke information up to distances of 50 mm and non-linearized stroke info up to 60 mm. The sensor's head and processing element are sealed to IP 67 specs. Voltage and current output versions are available. For more details, contact Tom Draper at BALLUFF INC., Florence, KY.
