OCXOs Offer Low Phase Noise Spec

In addition to a maximum phase noise spec of -150 dBc/Hz at 100 Hz and -160 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz intercept, Model 119 OCXO also exhibits frequency stabilities to 10 ppb from 0°C to 70°C. Aging rates are less than 0.5 ppb per day or 20 ppb per

In addition to a maximum phase noise spec of -150 dBc/Hz at 100 Hz and -160 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz intercept, Model 119 OCXO also exhibits frequency stabilities to 10 ppb from 0°C to 70°C. Aging rates are less than 0.5 ppb per day or 20 ppb per year at 10 MHz. The metal hermetic package dimensions are 2" x 2" x 1" and are well-suited for wireless base stations applications, include those employing GSM, TDMA and CDMA protocols. A voltage control input provides for phase locked control of the oscillator as a slave to primary timing reference sources. The devices are also useful as a reference in frequency synthesis applications where low phase noise is important. Available frequencies are 5 to 10 MHz.
