A 32.768-kHz SMT timing device, SG3032JC oscillator is said to eliminate the design problem associated with matching quartz crystals with real-time clock inputs. Well-suited for duty as a clock input for microcontrollers, the device operates at voltage levels of 1.8V to 3.6V to minimize oscillator current consumption to a maximum of 3 µA at 3.3V. Dimensions are 5.8 x 10.5 x 2.7 mm for a plastic SMT package.
