Promoting design flexibility, the SK series PCB-mount keylock switches are available in miniature and sub-miniature sizes, both of which are compatible with automated wave soldering. Their terminals are insert molded to lock out flux, solvents, and other contaminants. Each component in the series features a positive-detent mechanism and self-cleaning contacts. The subminiature models are antistatic with heat-resistant, glass-fiber-reinforced polyester bushings and housings. Available in single pole configurations, they can withstand over 15 kV of electrostatic discharge. Pin spacing is 0.1" x 0.1" and all subminiature models come with crimped brackets and two keys. The miniature switches are slightly larger and feature a 12-mm, nickel-plated bushing. Considered low security, they are available in single- or double-pole configurations with double- or three-throw circuits. Terminations include straight or right angle. Both the mini and sub-mini switches specify a current/voltage rating of 0.4A at 28 Vac/dc. NKK SWITCHES, Scottsdale, AZ. (480) 991-0942.
