Rugged and fully protected, the Type 32 8-slot portable CompactPCI chassis with PICMG 2.16 backplane options is up to the rigors of remote applications. The chassis measures 17" x 10.5" and hosts two 5.25" HH devices and a 350W plug-in power supply with an option for dual redundancy. Its vinyl-clad aluminum covers are scratch-resistant, and an ergonomic handle allows for comfortable carrying. Cooling is via a 90-cfm fan on the bottom of the unit. Options include the company's EMI protection, rear I/O and monitoring. Backplanes are available with either one or two fabric slots and with or without H.110 Computer Telephony implementation.
