PLL/Synthesizer Operates At 4,240 MHz

Operating at a frequency of 4,240 MHz with a typical step size of 2,500 kHz, the CPLL58-4240-4240 PLL/synthesizer measures 0.582” x 0.8” x 0.15” in its SMD package. The component wraps a VCO around a PLL in a package that’s only marginally larger than a VCO on its own and requires just an external frequency reference and supply voltages for the internal PLL and VCO. It is programmable using a standard three line interface: data, clock, and/or load enable. Specs include a typical phase noise of -95 dBc/Hz at a 10-kHz offset with a minimum output power of 3 dBm, VCO voltage of 5 Vdc, PLL voltage of 3 Vdc, and second harmonic suppression is -15 dBc typical.
