Rated for an I/O voltage of 100 to 120 Vac at 30A (24A de-rated) and housed in a 1U (1.75") tall package, the IPC3402-2756 Intelligent Power Controller is designed to eliminate the need for multiple power sources and to concentrate the input at one high-current source. The power control and management unit comes with built-in Ethernet and Direct Serial (RS-232) ports to provide remote control of system power. The design allows for primary control communications over the TCP/IP network and a redundant dial-up connection through the RS-232 port. The integrated power control features allow, among other things, locked equipment to be rebooted remotely. And additional features, such as power up/down sequencing, help to limit inrush problems and provide user-configurable sequencing. The IPC3402-2756 also allows systems to be connected to other IPC34XX power controllers for control of up to 80 outlets at one IP address or by using a single phone line. Local on/off control of each output for on-site maintenance is also provided. The unit offers individual control of eight NEMA receptacles and has detachable mounting brackets that can be replaced with either vertical mount (0U) brackets or an optional cable restraint/management system. Price is $989 each, with quantity discounts available. PULIZZI ENGINEERING INC., Santa Ana, CA. (800) 870-2248.
