Spanning sensing ranges of from 0 to 5 psi up to 0 to 10,000 psi, with metric units also available, the Model DS pressure sensor provides both a digital output (RS-485 or RS-232) and an analog output (0 to 5 Vdc). The 1,200 Hz frequency response of the analog output and 380 readings/second of the digital output fall within the general requirements for the test and measurement market. The digital output eliminates the need for a computer interface A/D card by providing a direct connection to PC or data acquisition systems. The new pressure sensor has a combined accuracy of ±0.1% FS, including temperature errors over the compensated temperature range. Designed for use in factories and test cell installations, the ruggedly built Model DS has all-welded stainless steel construction. Pricing starts at $775 each. SENSOTEC INC., Columbus, OH.
