Kavlico’s P6000 line of pressure transducers now includes models that are suitable for medical, as well as general industrial applications. The P6000 line of pressure transducers from Kavlico has been expanded to include very low-pressure ranges and surface-mount configurations.

The sensors operate on a linear, amplified output of 0.5 to 4.5 V dc that is proportional to pressure. Available pressure ranges run from inches of H2O to 100 PSI absolute, gage, and differential. They are temperature-compensated and feature excellent EMI/RFI and ESD protection. The devices can also be specified with a frequency output and have multiple mounting configurations. They have a superior output signal stability and low power consumption, and are compatible with a wide array of process media.

The P6000 sensors are suited for both wet and dry media applications. They can be used in a wide range of systems including HVAC, oxygen generators, respirators, ventilators, CPAP equipment, pneumatic controls, specialty surfaces and mattresses, and laboratory instrumentation. The company can also provide custom-designed packaging for unique configuration- and application-specific needs, all in RoHS-compliant designs.
