Chiseled for industrial applications requiring long-term stability in severe environmental conditions, the M5100 and U5100 pressure transducers find employment in process control, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC controllers, refrigeration, pumps, compressors, agriculture equipment, automotive test stands, gas compressors, oil exploration, and water management systems. Using proprietary Microfused technology, the M5100 suits high-pressure, high-cycle count applications that produce fatigue-type failures in traditional pressure transducers. Its port and diaphragm employ 17-4 stainless steel, optionally 316L, and there are no seals in the pressure port. Total error band is ±1% full scale. The U5100 features the company's MEMS die within an oil-filled, stainless steel isolated capsule diaphragm and targets low-pressure applications of less than 150 psi. Both transmitters offer a variety of options for ports, connectors, and electrical outputs. For more details, contact Sharif Al-Sharif at MEASUREMENT SPECIALTIES INC., Hampton VA.
