The RM series reed-relay module offers three input-output options—four inputs with one, two, or four outputs—and comes on a rugged, thermoset-epoxy over-molded FR-4 substrate. The component is capable of switching frequencies beyond 3 GHz with less than a 40-ps rise time. Its lead-less, surface-mount design eliminates skewing and co-planarity concerns and short BGA terminals allow a short signal path. Additionally, the relay measures just 0.157” high. Pricing is under $10 each in production quantities. MEDER ELECTRONIC INC., Mashpee, MA. (508) 539-0002.
