Capable of integrating infrared, visible light, or VSCEL sensing capabilities in a single package, the OPB608 series reflective sensors can detect objects at distances up to 2". Each component in the series shares a common package measuring 6.22 mm x 4.52 mm x 4.7 mm. The OPB608A, B, or C can have any of three emitting devices including an infrared led with an 890 nm center wavelength. The OPB608V includes an infrared VCSEL with an 850 nm center wavelength and the OPB608R integrates a visible red emitter with a 660 nm center wavelength.
