The company's popular SMD family of PolySwitch resettable circuit protection devices are now available lead-free. Embracing nanoSMD, microSMD and miniSMD devices, the new lead-free SMD devices are said to meet the same specs as their standard lead counterparts, including the ability both to withstand the higher melting temperatures of lead solder alternatives and to be installed using current reflow profiles. The devices are available in tape-and-reel packages, are shipped in moisture barrier bags, and are priced at $0.15 to $0.25 each for 100K/yr. Samples are available.
