Targeted at virtually all liquid and bulk-solid detection applications, the KCAP300 and KCAP400 RF capacitance switches feature a one-step external calibration process that eliminates the need to remove covers and violate equipment ratings, i.e., each unit is explosion-proof. The components rely on the company's KSHIELD technology that provides immunity to conductive coating build-up and is said to ensure accurate and repeatable operation. The devices include a 3-element shielded probe with a variety of probe elements for standard or multi-purpose applications.
