Designed to meet the demands of worldwide telecomm applications for a power distribution switch, the JWL series rocker switches are now available with a UL rating of 5A at 72 Vdc. The new rocker switches are also TV8 rated and are capable of withstanding a greater than 160A inrush load. The snap-in mounted components meet UL's 94V-0 flammability standard and offer numerous features. Standard features include an interior seal between the switch's actuator and contact that prevents the intrusion of dust and other particles, and molded-in, epoxy sealed terminals designed to also lock out contaminants. They are available in single-pole/single-throw through double-pole/double-throw configurations and can be ordered with flat or barrier flanges.
