Indicators often must contend with harsh environments, prompting VCC to develop its CNX 722 series of TuffLEDT indicators. Resistant to shock, vibration, and moisture, the 22-mm panel-mount indicators feature built-in LEDs that are visible in both direct sunlight and at wide angles. The LEDs come in red, yellow, green, blue, and white, and can be used in 5-, 12-, or 24-V dc circuits. Optional bezels, available in black, red, yellow, green, blue, white, aluminum, brushed aluminum, and chrome, provide a smooth, cosmetic finish. The indicators come in clear or color-coordinated polycarbonate, or a glowing polycarbonate-acrylic blend. Fast pitch threads and special nut assemblies help accelerate installation. Termination styles include screw block, quick disconnect solder terminals, and wire lead. The TuffLEDTs, moisture-sealed to IP67/NEMA 6P, are rated for use between −40° to 80°C, and can withstand current up to 20 mA. They can accommodate panel thicknesses up to 7.6 mm.VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS CO. (VCC) LLC
