Squeezing into tight-quarters, the USF 0402 surface-mount fuse debuts as the smallest member of the USF family of over-current protection components. The tiny fuse exhibits a super-quick acting characteristic with currents ratings ranging from 0.375A to 4A at 32 Vdc and/or 5A at 24 Vdc. The USF range of chip fuses includes 0402, 0603, and 1206 sizes with the 0402 measuring 1.05 mm x 0.55mm x 0.475 mm. A letter marking on each fuse indicates its current rating to ensure tracking of the proper fuse through the production process. Pricing starts at $0.18 each/1,000. SCHURTER INC., Santa Rosa, CA.
