Said to be an industry first, the D6A filter sensor houses a microprocessor with algorithms that provide a temperature reference point to ascertain if a filter fan is moving the correct amount of air. If air is not moving optimally, the user is alerted to the fact that the fan’s air filter is clogged. Operational temperature range is from 0°C to 45°C. The component works from a supply voltage of 12 Vdc ±10%, and maximum current consumption is specidied as 60mA with output voltage ranging from 0 to 5V. Intended applications for the sensor include servers, high-end routers, network devices, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs). Pricing starts at $28 each/1000.
