The PVD series parts verification sensor employs large, bright green and red job lights to help guide assemblers through the part-picking sequence. They also notify users when an incorrect or out-of-sequence selection occurs. A unique one-piece, self-contained emitter/receiver design provides automatic selection of either diffuse or retro reflective sensing modes, depending on the presence or absence of a retro reflective target. The diffuse mode has a sensing range of 400 mm and the retro reflective mode has a range of 2m. The compact, 30 x 15-mm sensors are available with sensing lengths of 100 mm and 225 mm with an operating voltage from 12 Vdc to 30 Vdc. Single-unit price is $233.
