Six-Axis Sensor Debuts As World’s Smallest

Unveiled as the smallest six-axis sensor available, the AH-6100LR consists of a three-axis QMEMS quartz gyro-sensor and a three-axis accelerometer within a single package measuring 10 mm x 8 mm x 3.8 mm. The device specifies a dynamic range of 81 dB to 83 dB over a 200-Hz output bandwidth. Other features include 5,000g of shock resistance, a current consumption of 6.1 mA, an analog output for high-accuracy sensing, and a low-pass filter. EPSON ELECTRONICS AMERICA INC., El Segundo, CA.
