Poised for deployment in commercial and industrial products, the FTR-K3 1Make (1 Form A) relay specifies a nominal operating power of 780 mW with a maximum load of 20A at 250 Vac. The component measures 30.1 mm x 15.7 mm x 23.3 mm with an 8-mm clearance distance and a minimum 9.5-mm creepage distance between coil and contacts. Other features include a surge withstand voltage of 8.5 kV for one minute, 1 kV dielectric strength between contacts, 5 kV dielectric strength between coil to contact, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +60°C. Additionally, the relay has a mechanical life of two-million operations and an electrical life of 100,000 operations at 20A/250 Vac. Available with #250 TAB and PCB terminals in 5-, 6-, 9-, 12-, 18-, and 24-Vdc coil voltages, an FTR-K3 with a 12-Vdc coil is priced at $1.10 each/100,000 pieces.
