Ready for automotive applications, the D2xx snap-action switches shrug off external contaminants with IP67 ratings and can handle micro loads up to 15A. The family includes the D2VW, D2SW, D2HW, D2JW, D2FW-G, and Z-55 switches, all of which are currently RoHS compliant except the Z-55, which will be compliant before this year's deadline. They range in size from 24.2 mm x 17.45 mm x 49.2 mm to 7 mm x 5.3 mm x 13.3 mm and offer PCB, solder, quick connect, screw, and wire-lead termination options. Lever options complimenting the standard pin plunger actuator include hinge roller, simulated roller, leaf, and simulated leaf. Prices for the parts are as follows: D2VW, $1.45 to $4.49; D2SW, $1.20 to $3.37; D2HW, $0.73 to 1.69; D2JW, $3.44 to $4.34; D2FW-G, $1.71; and Z-55, $2.88 to $10.41 each/10,000.
