The company's D3V miniature snap-action switches are now available in contact ratings of 0.1, 6, 11, 16, and 21A, with a 25A-rated switch to become available by year's end. All ratings use the same physical form to offer users greater design efficiency. The lower current ratings are made possible by incorporating self-cleaning wiping contacts, which also ensure a longer working life for the entire D3V family. All D3Vs are available with either internal or external levers and a choice of terminal options. The switches can be used in a wide range of applications, from home appliances and office equipment to HVAC systems and vending machines. OMRON ELECTRONICS LLC, Schaumburg, IL. (847) 882-2288.
