Breaking the load in two places to minimize electrical arcing, Type 11 snap-action switches are used in applications such as welding guns, electric actuators, lift truck speed controllers, electrical contactors, elevator door openers, sump pumps, hospital beds, medical examination tables,X-ray equipment and electrical safety switches. The design includes a two-spring butterfly contact that produces high contact pressure in vibration or shock prone applications. Also, an enlarged Nylon button in the middle of the switch saves the cost of levers or external actuators. Terminals include end solder, #4 screw, side solder, and 0.250" quick disconnect. Current rating is up to 1/2 hp (125 Vac) and 3/4 hp (250 Vac). A 28V version handles up to 15A.
