Solenoids Survive Harsh, Rugged Conditions

Designed to operate in rugged conditions such as parking meters, the Magnetec Interposer solenoids are claimed to be the most magnetically efficient tubular solenoids in the industry, requiring 25% less operating power than standard solenoids. The device is completely integrated, meaning the plunger is embedded into the solenoid.
The outer shell is machined out of solid stock, resulting in only three magnetic air gaps instead of four. Having one less air gap, it is said, increases magnetic efficiency and reduces power consumption.
