Useful in out-of-balance occurrences such as those common to home washers/driers, balancing and drilling tools, and pinball machines, the Model TRHN-308 solid-state vibration sensor provides a pulse-signal output from an integrated piezo crystal. A pulse is generated from any unwanted movement or impact to the sensor. Available in a range of supply voltages and currents from 3.5V to 15V at 3 mA to 30 mA, the component comes on a PCB measuring 2.69" x 0.38" x 0.14". The piezo generator measures 0.53" in length. A wide variety of termination configurations are also available. Price is $12 each/100. TRANSDUCERS USA, Elk Grove Village, IL. (888) 921-6400.
