The NFL18ST surface-mount electromagnetic interference (EMI) filter is available in the small 0603 size. It produces a roll-off rate (60 dB/dec) three times sharper than standard three-terminal capacitors and offers performance comparable to 1206- and 0805-sized products. Its sharp roll-off rate suppresses noise effectively with little or no signal attenuation and maintains a clear waveform. The company's multilayer technology yields a high level of insertion loss while minimizing stray capacitance of the inductor element.
