The SMP 1812 series of surface-mount power inductors handles high currents in relatively little space. The devices are rated from 124 to 2018 mA with saturation current ratings from 129 to 2500 mA. Inductances range from 1 to 330 µH. An RF version of the SMP 1812 series is also available, as are custom designs for specific design requirements. Uses include microprocessor and distributed power applications, including power supplies, power regulators, and dc-dc converters. Typical pricing for the SMP 1812 series inductors is $0.29 each in production quantities.
