Designed to save space and improve performance in a variety of industries and applications, the Series SS3 ultra-compact, surface-mount slides switch features a tiny 2.9-mm-high body that houses the firm's Sliding Twin Crossbar mechanism for high logic-level reliability. To insure long-life operation and positive actuation, the switch's detent mechanism is constructed with a steel ball and metallic gear capable of withstanding the extreme heat of IR reflow soldering.
