The 0402 TACMicrochip surface-mount tantalum capacitor offers design engineers a high CV rating in an 0402 size. This device provides enhanced high-frequency performance through superior ESR characteristics with temperature and voltage stability. It provides some of the industry's highest CV specifications, including 0.47 µF at 10 V, 1.0 µF at 6 V, and 2.2µF at 3 V. Standard capacitance tolerances are ±20% over the operating-temperature range of −55°C to 125°C. The TACMicrochip is also available in 0603 and 0805 case sizes with voltage options of 2, 3, 4, 6.3, 10, and 16 V. Typical pricing for the 0402 TACMicrochip capacitors starts at $0.90 in OEM quantities.
