Offered as standard connector systems for sensors and actuators, five cable types are now available in the company's line for all applications from standard PVC to robotic cables requiring 360° rotations. The cables employ current IP67 technology, promising a safe connection every time. The Type 1 PVC targets normal environments with low to medium mechanical demands, and the Type 2 PUR/PVC withstands more rugged applications. For heavy-duty chores, the Type 3 PUR-UL/CSA is suitable use with machine tools, swivel tables, and metal cutting manufacturing. Carrying UL and CSA approval, this cable is both halogen and PVC free. Also halogen and PVC free, the Type 4 PUR is designed for extremely demanding areas, particularly in high-motion drag chains. Rounding out the line, the Type 5 PUR is designed to outfit industrial and welding robots with 360° rotations. MURRELEKTRONIK INC., Duluth, GA. (770) 497-9292.
