Targeting demanding GPS applications, the TG-5025BA TCXO comes in a 2016-sized package measuring 2.1 mm x 1.7 mm x 0.8 mm and is equipped with a photo AT chip, a very small, crystal chip micro fabricated using unique QMEMS technology. The component also employs internal wire bonding and the company’s original New Platform Oscillator (NPO) structure whereby the crystal unit, encased in a ceramic package, is sealed together with an oscillation circuit in a molded plastic housing. Other features include a frequency-temperature coefficient of 0.5 x 10-6 (-30°C to +85°C), a driving voltage of 1.68V to 3.3V, and an output frequency range from 13 MHz to 52 MHz.
