Essex, England: Short-listed as "Semiconductor Product of the Year" for the European Elektra Awards, CML's CMX990 is an advanced single-chip RF transceiver with integrated GMSK data modem. The transceiver has its sights set on global narrowband M2M (machine-tomachine) products.

Already, the CMX990 is seeing deployment in a number of M2M applications. Some of these include vending and cold-chain telemetry, as well as traffic-congestion monitoring systems.
