The SM300A ultrasonic proximity sensor measures 33.0 mm x 7.62 mm x 19.05 mm and has a sensing range from 6.35 mm to 102 mm, said to be 12 times farther than similar sized sensors. This 12 to 24 Vdc sensor is field programmable or fixed field from the factory for tamper-proof sensing. With protection ratings of NEMA 4X and IP67, the CE-certified SM300FP resists most acids and bases and is compatible with many chemicals, cleaning solutions and most products encountered in harsh environments.
